Administration of omega-3fatty acids should be avoided in patients on anticoagulants and inthose known to have an inherited or acquired bleeding diathesis.WARNING: Folic acidalone is improper therapy in the treatment of pernicious anemia andother megaloblastic anemias where vitamin 12 is deficient.

INDICATIONS. CitraNatal (R) 90 DHA is multivitamin/mineral prescription drugindicated for use in improving the nutritional status of women priorto conception, throughout pregnancy, and in the postnatal period forboth lactating and nonlactating mothers.

OTC - ACTIVE INGREDIENT SECTION.

DESCRIPTION. CitraNatal (R) 90 DHA is prescription prenatal/postnatal multivitamin/mineraltablet with Ferr-Ease (R), patented dual-irondelivery comprising both quick release and slow release iron, anda capsule of an essential fatty acid. The prenatal vitamin is white,oval multivitamin/mineral tablet. The tablet is debossed CN 90 onone side and 0821 on the other. The essential fatty acid DHA capsuleis caramel colored and contains light yellow to orange semi-solidmixture.
