INDICATIONS. CitraNatal(R) Rx is multi-vitamin/mineral prescription drug indicatedfor use in improving the nutritional status of women prior to conception,throughout pregnancy, and in the postnatal period for both lactatingand nonlactating mothers.. CONTRAINDICATIONS. This product is contraindicated in patients witha known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

PRECAUTIONS. Folic acid in doses above 0.1 mg daily may obscurepernicious anemia in that hematologic remission can occur while neurologicalmanifestations progress.

WARNING. Folic acid alone is improper therapy in the treatmentof pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias where vitaminB12 is deficient.

ADVERSEREACTIONS. Allergic sensitizationhas been reported following both oral and parenteral administrationof folic acid.

Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under6. KEEP THIS PRODUCT OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. In case of accidentaloverdose, call doctor or poison control center immediately.
